Jerry’s career reflects a unique blend of military discipline, cultural and psychological understanding plus both strategic and creative leadership.
As a former Royal Marines officer, international judo competitor and mixed martial arts coach, Jerry has cultivated a deep understanding of trust, teamwork and kinship.
Then followed a 30-year career in advertising as a strategic and creative leader, as well as leading Tickled Pink - a successful organizational culture transformation consultancy.
Beyond this, Jerry has mentored men through various rites of passage programmes, blending personal growth with emotional healing. He has also spent time among a First Nation people in the United States, and works closely with iwi in Aotearoa.
He has an academic background in sociology, behavioural science and Jungian studies that further enrich his focus on building sustainable cultures of growth and kinship.

Claire O’Neil is an embodied practitioner with over 10-years experience studying, integrating and leading mindful movement processes for daily creativity, self-knowledge and wellbeing.
Progressing from an international career in dance as an artistic director, performer, mentor, and lecturer, Claire grounds her practice in experiential anatomy, breathwork, and body training systems such as yoga, contact improvisation, functional and primal movement patterns, and, more recently, Somatic Movement Education.
Her eco-somatic research spans the fields of social, environmental, arts, and movement philosophies, exploring what it means to be vibrant beings in sustainable local ecologies. Through placemaking, self-identifying and kinship methods, Claire works on ways to improve creative thinking, communication, inter-relationship and problem-solving.

Jemarl’s story is a beacon of purpose and realized possibility. After an exacting career as a professional firefighter, he felt a deep calling to reorient his life to a kaupapa of mentoring individuals through Te Ao Māori, a deep connection to the natural world and holistic wellbeing.
Operating from Piha on Auckland’s rugged west coast, Jemarl excels in creating then leading people of all ages through activity-based experiences that inspire transformation.
Whether this wānanga involves surfing, bushwalking or another outdoor experience, Jemarl’s leadership and work bridges modern science and ancestral knowledge. His unique approach touches the mind (hinengaro), body (tinana) and spirit (wairua). The effect is to make people feel uplifted, empowered, seen, safe and capable of change.
Jemarl is also co-facilitator of Calm Under Pressure, a mind-body training system created in partnership with elite performance coach Dave Wood.
